FileTagSleuth - End User Licence Agreement

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a legal entity, known as "The Licensee") and the developer ("Ulfwood Ltd") of the software and associated files ("FileTagSleuth"). FileTagSleuth may include accompanying software, files, data and materials. Ulfwood Ltd is a registered company of the United Kingdom, and governed by the laws of England.

This software is confidential and copyrighted.  The title to this software and all associated intellectual property rights is retained by Ulfwood Ltd. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works based on this software.

By installing, copying, downloading, accessing or otherwise using FileTagSleuth, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, you may not use or copy FileTagSleuth, and you should promptly delete it from all machines that you have installed it to.

Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy of FileTagSleuth to use it, subject to the following conditions:

FileTagSleuth is available for use by individuals, corporations, co-operatives, governments, charities and any other entities entirely free of charge, in perpetuity.

FileTagSleuth and all accompanying software, files, data and materials are provided 'as is' and without warranties of any kind whether implied or explicit. Any liability on the part of Ulfwood Ltd or any of its staff is limited to a full refund of the price of the licence(s) to The Licensee. In addition, no employees, contractors, subsidiaries or other members of Ulfwood Ltd will be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages whatsoever relating to the use of FileTagSleuth, or to your relationship with Ulfwood Ltd.

In the event of any dispute, FileTagSleuth and this agreement are protected by the laws of England and the resolution of any dispute will be through the laws of England.

This EULA will always be superseded by the latest version of it which can be found at http://www.ulfwood.net/Mp3TagFileData/FileTagSleuthEULA.txt

The file metadata extracting part of FileTagSleuth which extracts EXIF, ID3 and other file information is achieved by the use of ExifTool.exe, an executable file which has been compiled from Perl scripts by Phil Harvey. This excellent tool is licenced under the Gnu Public Licence (version 1) and in compliance with this licence, the source code for this tool is available from http://search.cpan.org/~exiftool/ or from http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/ or from Ulfwood Ltd. upon request at no charge whatsoever. This offer does not apply to any other part of FileTagSleuth, nor is any other part of FileTagSleuth licenced under the Gnu Public Licence.
